CDT - Day 121 - Leadore
Today was a really easy day, with only a four-mile hike from our campsite below Deadman Pass to the trailhead at Bannock Pass.
When we arrived, I sent a message to the Mustang Inn using my Garmin inReach, and Jen picked us up within 20 minutes. She gave us a quick tour of Leadore before dropping us off at The Depot for a fantastic breakfast.
Pudding didn't join us in Leadore. Instead, he hitched north to Salmon, where he'll be meeting his wife in a few days for a mini vacation. He'll most likely join us again for the next section after Chief Joseph Pass.
Leadore is a nice little town. The resupply is a little expensive, but considering it's mostly from a gas station, that's to be expected. I still managed to find everything I needed, minus my fancy freeze-dried meals.
For this next section, I'll be surviving on ramen, Knorr sides, and mashed potatoes. Living the glamorous thru-hiker life.
