CDT - Day 151 - Slack Packing to East Glacier Park Village
Today we slackpacked the final 15 miles into East Glacier Park Village. PuffPuff and Skyler picked up our gear from Summit Campground, which meant we only had to carry lightweight packs for the hike into the village. After so many miles with a fully loaded pack, hiking 15 miles with barely anything on my back felt fantastic.
Once we arrived in East Glacier, we checked into the Looking Glass Hostel and settled in.
We also spent a good chunk of the day at the ranger station figuring out our permits for Glacier National Park. With the logistics finally sorted out, we're ready for the final stretch of the CDT.
Canada is getting very, very close.
