CDT - Day 152 - Atlantic Creek Campground

After a quick and hearty breakfast at Two Medicine Grill, we set off on our Glacier National Park hiking adventure.

Yesterday, we spent over an hour at the ranger station figuring out our permits for the park. We managed to secure four campsites, all roughly 15 to 20 miles apart. Today's destination was Atlantic Creek Campground, about 25 miles from East Glacier Park Village.

The hiking today was exceptionally cold. The two passes we climbed were partially iced over, and I was really missing my microspikes. The forecast called for cold temperatures with a chance of rain and snow, and it definitely felt like winter was trying to arrive early. Thankfully, the next few days are supposed to be a little warmer with fewer clouds.

It's hard to believe I'm finally hiking through Glacier National Park. After more than five months on the CDT, there isn't much trail left between me and Canada.
