CDT - Day 18 - Valle Tio Vinces Campground
Today was a really great day on the trail, it wasn't quite as cold as yesterday waking up, which made getting up a little easier. MK and I woke up around the same time, and as expected she was up and out of camp before me. I went through my usual routine, and then packed up at my own pace. The plan was to catch up with MK and possibly hike together again.
After several miles of hiking I caught up with MK and we spent the day hiking together. I felt like the hike itself was relatively easy, we hiked 21 miles to Valle Rio Vinces Campground. It didn't have any running water, but it did have a very clean privy with plenty of TP. The camping spots all had bench tables and flat clear ground for tents. After about an hour Zack and Molly showed up to camp with us.
The plan for tomorrow will be to hike 16 miles to Davila Ranch, which will have a shower, laundry, water, shelter, and spots to camp. From there it'll be only 14 miles to Pie Town, where we'll enjoy a nice meal at Gatherin' Place II, and then pick up our resupply boxes.
