CDT - Day 19 - Davila Ranch
Today started off like the last few days, cold and dark. I didn't want to get out of the tent, but I knew I wanted to make it to the next destination early.
The first half of the day was easy hiking through the forest and up the mountain. It wasn't until going down the mountain, and into the more open high desert that the hole became somewhat brutal. The last 8 miles or so were just dusty forest roads with no shade. I pushed on and made it to Davila Ranch by around 2pm, which gave me plenty of time for a nice shower, and then laundry. MK had reached the ranch about 40 minutes before me.
