CDT - Day 32 - Breakfast and Leaving Cuba
This morning I woke up 6am and went straight across the street to Cuban Cafe for French toast and scrambled eggs. Puff Puff and Guardian showed up and joined. We talked about our adventures, and plans for the next few days. Puff Puff told me about a small shortcut to shorten some of the road walking. It was a wonderful way to start the morning. After breakfast we hit the trail (road walk bleh) and headed towards Ghost Ranch.
In the FarOut app comments someone had mentioned taking Eureka Mesa Rd shortcut. That turned out to be a fantastic shortcut and sah ed about 2 miles off the hike.
Beautiful forest with abundant flowing water, and a nice lake (San Gergorio Reservoir).
Caught up to Puff Puff and Guardian at mile 14.35.
After a long day of hiking we camped together in the San Pedro Wilderness area, in a beautiful grassy meadow.
