CDT - Day 47 - Big Miles and Creeks
Today was a pretty easy day on the trail. The first few miles passed through a burn scar and were very exposed. I'm glad I went through that area early in the morning.
After the burn scar, I entered the forest, and the trail followed Goose Creek, Roaring Fork, and Deep Creek. I hiked about 20 miles today, which leaves just 5 miles to Creede.
I set up camp near Roaring Fork in a small meadow. Tomorrow should be an easy hike with only about 1,000 feet of descent.
