Go John, Quartz, and Slate Loop - 12/26/2025
The day after Christmas my friend Kaila joined me on a quick hike on the Go John, Quartz and Slate Loop trails in Cave Creek. It had been quite a while since we'd hiked together, and it was great catching up with one of my favorite hiking buddies. My knee was still acting up a bit from an ITBS issue, but overall the hike was easy. The weather was perfect, and we saw very few people. I highly recommend this area for hiking.
