Humphreys Peak - 11/1/2025
Once again I found myself hiking up Humphreys Peak over the weekend. I had originally planned on joining a hiking group to climb Battleship Mountain, but I just wasn't feeling it. It would have been a very warm hike, with very little sleep (I needed to wake up at 3am). So I decided to climb my favorite mountain in Arizona. The weather in Flagstaff, and on the mountain was absolutely perfect. There were no clouds, just clear skies, and crisp cool air. I met an ultra runner named Logan at the beginning of the trail. We ended up hiking together for the entire trail, and ran for quite a bit on the descent. By keeping up with him I ended up finishing the trail in record time, setting a new PR for myself. I couldn't have asked for a better day.

After the hike I enjoyed a Big Daddy Kane burger from Diablo Burger.
