Paddle Boarding on The Salt River - 8/9/2025
Saturday I went paddle boarding at the Salt River for the first time with a few new friends. The weather was great, and we had cloud cover for a good portion of the float. I had never used a paddle board before, and I wasn't really sure what to expect. I've gone kayaking a bunch of times so I've had some experience on the water with paddles. Surprisingly I had no trouble standing up and paddling without falling off. There were a few sections of the river where the current sped up and got a little choppy, but it wasn't bad. The entire experience was fantastic, and I can't wait to out there again next week.
