Prescott Triple Crown - 4/5/2026
On Sunday I met with a couple of friends to complete the Prescott Triple Crown. Our official completion time was 6 hours and 20 minutes (including driving). We started with Granite Mountain, then Thumb Butte and finished the challenge with Spruce Mountain. Our total hiking mileage was 17.27 miles, with an elevation gain of about 4,006 feet. We drove to each of the trailheads. It was kind of a warm day, there was quite a bit of sun exposure on all of the hikes. This was definitely a challenge, and a lot of fun.
