Yeager Canyon Loop Trail - 2/28/2026
The final hike for February was up a customized version of the Yeager Canyon Loop Trail near Mingus Mountain in Prescott. This was a long hike, with some good elevation gain. There were a few sections where we lost the trail a bit, and we were blocked by private property. We ended up following the fence until we found the section of the trail we needed to be at. At the turn around point we ate some homemade carrot cake cupcakes that Elle brought with. Besides a little bot of bushwhacking, and sketchy private property, this was a great hike. This hike officially put me at 100 miles for the month of February!
Afterwards I drove out to Cottonwood to join my friend Kimberly for a monster truck show, and dinner.
